Krampitz CENTAUR tanks are storage tanks & Transport tanks
Advantage: They can also be transported filled!
The Krampitz Centaur Tanks are storage and Transport tanksCompared to normal Storage tanks They have a decisive advantage: They can also be transported filled.
They can contain media such as diesel, mineral oil, or even highly flammable fuels such as kerosene or gasoline. Filling with tankers on site is no longer necessary.
This enables smaller consumers with low delivery volumes to have a much more efficient fuel supply.
CENTAUR transport tanks in use at a small airfield
Transport and storage tanks in transport platform
We will show you how this works using the example of a small local airfield. For the installation of the Centaur tanks, only requires little space.
The best way to Centaur Tanks in our own Krampitz stored in transport modulesThe filled tanks are located on the left transport platform. The empty tanks are located on the right transport platform.
To supply the aircraft, for example, two filled tanks onto a mobile truck loaded with a delivery unit and connected. With this tank truck, the aircraft can then refueled everywhere on the runway .
Once the Centaur tanks are emptied, they are placed in the right transport platform for empty tanks. The tank truck can then be loaded with the next two filled Centaur tanks from the left transport platform.
The emptied Centaur Tanks are now conveniently transported by truck to the transport platform. They are now being transported to the refinery. There they are stored on the transport platform.
In the refinery, the emptied Centaur tanks again Tank by tank filledMeanwhile, the already filled Centaur tanks are ready for return transport. They arrive at the airfield by truck.
The Centaur tank system works like a circulationEmpty tanks go to the refinery, and full tanks are returned to the consumer. Since the tanks can be transported filled, the need for on-site refilling by tanker truck is eliminated.
This advantage makes the Centaur tank system so outstanding and flexible.
