Krampitz double-walled storage tanks KTD

 

Our double-walled storage tanks are KTD made of stainless steel or steel with internal coating. They are used for storage Diesel, heating oil, HVO, mineral oil, vegetable oil or other water-polluting liquids in accordance with our approval.

The KTD's are available in 17 standard sizes. From 950 liters to 50.000 liters.

The characteristic feature of the tank container is its cubic structure. This guarantees effective use of space.

The KTD can easily be transported with a forklift or pallet truck.

Thanks to the double-walled structure No collecting tray is required for the KTD tanks.

A vacuum leak detector constantly checks the tightness of the tank. If the tank becomes leaky due to corrosion or external damage, it will release Leak detector Alarm off.
The tanks are suitable for installation in buildings as well as in system containers.

Here is an example of use: The KTD can be set up without a collecting tray. If the consumer - machine or generator - is placed close to the KTD, the consumer's own fuel pump is sufficient to suck fuel directly from the KTD. If the distance to the KTD is greater, our Z-PK type refill pump is useful for support.

The Filling the double-walled KTD storage tank can be done via a fixed pipeline by tanker. When the maximum fill level is reached, the tank truck pump is automatically switched off by the limit indicator via the signal line. This prevents the tank from overfilling.

Depending on the application, we optionally recommend the following Equipment items: Level sensor, limit sensor, filling pipe, suction pipe, vent nozzle with hood or Z-PK refill pump.
