KTD-FL-Mini – the mini flounders

The new KTD-FL-Mini (Krampitz Flunder) tank series is designed for the direct mounting of diesel generators on the tank roof . The load-bearing capacity of the outer steel frame is rated for 3000 kg.

These tanks are designed as double-walled steel bodies with electronic vacuum leak monitoring.

They are equipped for installation in machine containers or in buildings , i.e. for indoor installation.

Two massive C-rail profiles are welded lengthways onto the tank roof. Up to three freely adjustable load-bearing hat profiles are attached to these C-rails (four hat profiles are optionally possible).

The complete GenSet sled or diesel engine with generator can be mounted on these hat profiles using customer-supplied intermediate adapters.

To fix the entire unit on the container floor, fastening brackets can be mounted on special multi-fix points (welded into the corner posts) in the floor area.

A DN600 dome entry in the tank roof guarantees good access to the tank interior for service and tank cleaning.

Connection sleeves in the tank roof ensure that the tank is equipped with level indicators, electrical switching points, overfill protection, the filling connection, ventilation nozzles as well as suction and return lines.

Crane eyes on the tank roof enable easy handling of the tank with a crane.

The KTD-FL mini flounders are divided into 3 sub-series A, B, C

The KTD-FL-A series represents the smallest group with 4 variants. These have a footprint of 1.200 mm x 2.500 mm with volumes from 500 to 2.000 liters.

The KTD-FL-B series, as the middle group, also offers 4 variants, which are available with a base area of 2.000 mm x 3.000 mm, overall heights of 500 to 1.250 mm and tank volumes of 1.000 to 5.000 liters.

The KTD-FL-C series is the large group with 4 variants. It has a footprint of 2.000 mm x 5.750 mm and a total height of 500 to 1.250 mm. The volumes range from 2.500 to 10.000 liters.
