Modern industrial plant construction with pre-assembled machine and system containers for worldwide export
Krampitz ISO container platforms for optimal installation of machines and systems
A focus of the German export industry is mechanical and plant engineering. In addition to the Arab countries, Russia, Africa and Latin America, the Asian economic area is becoming increasingly important for the German export industry.
But that means that the topics:
- Transport of machines and system components,
- Assembly of machines and systems in these regions as well
- Test runs and commissioning in these countries represent an increasingly greater economic and logistical challenge.
To simplify this problem, factory-made plug-in systems in ISO container dimensions are the solution.
Here, machines and systems are assembled and tested on one or more ISO container platforms in the manufacturing plant and then sent to the customer as a standard ISO container unit. That means:
- for transport, minimizing costs through the use of ISO standard container units,
- for on-site assembly, minimizing costs through prefabricated machine and system modules in standard ISO container units,
- for test runs and commissioning, quick and easy commissioning thanks to the factory-made units.
Krampitz has developed a complete modular container system for these applications. It includes storage tank modules, open and closed container platforms for the installation of e.g. B. Pumps, filters, machines and controls.
Many system components do not require a 20ft container size.
For this purpose, Krampitz has developed combinable 5ft and 10ft high cube containers. The biggest problem for using these container modules is the small size of these units. The most frequently handled container boxes have 20ft and 40ft dimensions.
Every professional who handles international transport knows that container units smaller than 20ft incur very high costs when it comes to sea freight.
That's why Krampitz has developed combinable 5ft and 10ft high cube containers, which - assembled using quick-tie connectors - result in a complete, CSC-approved 20ft high cube container in standard dimensions. This 20ft modular unit can be handled in exactly the same way and transported under the same conditions as a standard 20ft container.
The following 20ft high cube combinations are possible:
- Combination A: 2 pieces of 10ft high cube container connected together, results in 1 piece of 20ft high cube container,
- Combination B: 1 piece 5ft high cube container plus 1 piece 10ft high cube container plus 1 piece 5ft high cube container connected together, makes 1 piece 20ft high cube container,
- Combination C: 2 pieces of 5ft high cube container plus 1 piece of 10ft high cube container connected together, makes 1 piece of 20ft high cube container,
- Combination D: 4 pieces of 5ft high cube containers connected together, results in 1 piece of 20ft high cube container.
The following container combinations are possible at Krampitz:
Krampitz has the following container variants in its range:
1. Open platforms
2. Closed container enclosures
3. Storage tank containers
The container units are connected by approved ones Quick-tie connections, which are mounted laterally in the corner fittings.
These quick-tie connecting bolts can also be used at the installation site of container systems Complete system systems are permanently connected laterally in container frames become. Permanent stacking of container modules is also possible with a second quick-tie variant.
The transport packaging is also the permanent housing or the steel floor assembly required for open modules.
