Oversized tank modules with volumes of approx. 75,000 to 100,000 liters for fuels and oil
Krampitz produces aboveground storage tank containers in ISO container dimensions of 10 feet to 40 feet HighCube as standard.
These storage tank containers have a CSC container frame with twist-lock corner fittings. Volumes in this standard range start at approx. 10,000 liters and end at approx. 65,000 liters.
Storage tank containers with large special dimensions
Krampitz has developed special XXL storage tanks for this purpose, offering 75,000 or even nearly 100,000 (approx. 96,000) liters of volume.
These are oversized storage tanks, which are also used as a battery solution for realizing large tank farms up to 1,000,000 liters.
Reducing installation time and costs
Due to their dimensions of 3 meters in width, 3 meters in height, and up to 15 meters in length, these tanks are still relatively easy to transport in Europe. Once transport is done via seaports, these tank sizes are classified as special dimension units. That’s when transport becomes expensive.
Our customers accept the extra transport cost, having realized that installation time and costs are reduced, allowing them to better plan projects and implement them faster.
Since 2019, we also offer special aboveground tanks up to 4 meters in width.
It’s evident that the industry technical trend, storage of fuels (diesel, gasoline, kerosene) and oil, is leading to ever larger and heavier units.
This trend is supported by state-of-the-art mobile cranes and modern telescopic, heavy trailers that are available everywhere in the world today.
